When I was 3.5 years old, the older kids in my neighborhood dressed up and put together a nativity play.
Most the kids costumes consisted of bathrobes as they played the roles of Wise Men (& Women) or Shepards.
But I brought my own wardrobe and demanded a re-write that included a character rarely included in the story of Jesus’ birth.
And that is how I got my breakout role in the hit neighborhood show, “Jesus, Mary, Joseph…and the Fireman.”
And the “twisting” of traditions is, well, a tradition in my family.
Yesterday I shared some of our “Eggnography” tradition. Here’s me talking with Mom/Santa about our Xmas eve antics (with lots of examples):
And here is an explanation (and origin) of another of our family traditions. “The Yearly Quest for Your Best Present.”
And speaking of traditions…
I’m starting a new tradition of hosting LOVE AMBASSADOR SUMMITS.
The 1st one is in a month! Join me in San Diego, Jan. 13-14. (3 spots left.)
Waiting patiently under the mistletoe,
