My family and I spent about $600 in December to make ~30 goody bags for houseless folks in our area. They contained things like hand & foot warmers, a $10 McD's gift card, lip balm, gloves, etc. (About half of them were specifically for women, too, containing feminine hygiene products.) Then we just drove around and handed them out to people that needed them. I was a little dismayed at how quick and easy it was to give away 30+ of these things but also glad we could do it. We've told no one of this deed.
Love this! Last week at the corner mercado I paid for a man’s bag of food when he realized he overspent and was short of $. He thought I was kidding until I asked if he would please give a turn to someone else later.
Please don’t EVER stop sharing. You inspire so many to do better! To be Better! Me included. XX
Thank you, Jackie!
Thank you for sharing and I am so glad you got to experience giving in a new way to you! Beautiful and heart warming.
